Reds manager Rafael Benitez was dealt a blow in the first-half when star striker Fernando Torres was substituted after picking up a hamstring injury.
John Carew came closest to winning the match for Villa, while David Ngog - a replacement for Torres - was only inches too high with a chip for Liverpool.
Overall defences dominated and Benitez will be disappointed that his side were unable to muster a shot on target.P/S : Memang dah dijangka keputusannya. Tiada beberapa tonggak utama membuatkan Liverpool sedikit goyah.

Ok la tu draw dari kalah. Tak kisah draw pun, tp formasi and taktikal benitez makin 'misteri'. Beli winger pastu letak simpanan. Kuyt pulak main winger. Ramai dah tension dengan taktikal benitez ni.
