Simon Jones is Sportsmail's man on the inside of all the major transfer moves this summer.

His column, published every weekday, offers an insight into the deals which will be done and those that won't - and why.

A 5/5-rating means The Insider reckons it's a done deal; 0/5 means The Insider has his mortgage on it not happening.

MICHEL VORM

Swansea to Tottenham
THE INSIDER says: 2/5

VICTOR WANYAMA

Celtic to QPR
THE INSIDER says: 3/5

The 28-year-old goalkeeper is one of the hottest properties in the Premier League following a fantastic debut season in the top flight. Tottenham, Arsenal and Manchester City have all shown interest with QPR the latest club to test the water. However, Vorm seems happy to remain at Swansea at least for the immediate future. That may change depending on their new manager and what offers Swansea receive. Arsenal have reservations about Wojciech Szczesny's decision making but have other priorities right now and QPR may return to original target Ben Foster.

The powerful Kenyan was a great find by Celtic after they recruited him from Belgian side Beerschot for a bargain £900,000. He quickly established himself as a firm fans favourite and showed his versatility by playing in central defence. However, his preference to play in midfield has come to therefore and that has alerted Premier League clubs with QPR at the front of the queue for the 20-year-old. Celtic won't sell easy but substantial offers of around £6million will be difficult to turn down. Liverpool are not understood to be among the clubs that want him but Stoke will watch events closely.

ADAM JOHNSON

Man City to Sunderland
THE INSIDER says
: 3/5

ROBERT LEWANDOWSKI

Borussia Dortmund to Manchester Utd
THE INSIDER says: 2/5

Sportsmail revealed in April that the England international winger was a target for Sunderland and Everton but that they would both struggle to put together the financial package required. City want at least £10million for the 24-year-old and are not keen to loan him out as they try to re-address the imbalance in their spending over recent years. Liverpool have also shown interest but they will also think twice about paying over £10m. Johnson's teammate James Milner, Wigan winger Victor Moses and Blackpool's Matt Phillips may prove cheaper alternatives for the interested clubs instead.

Sir Alex Ferguson was impressed when he went to see the German Cup final. He went on the premise of seeing Shinji Kagawa close up and came away purring about the quality Dortmund showed in their attacking play with Lewandowski at the end of it. United lost the title on goals difference and need to be more ruthless and without doubt need someone to replace Dimitar Berbatov and Michael Owen. The problem is talk of an £18m offer is well short of Dortmund's valuation. They see Lewandowski as a £40m player and United know from the Kagawa deal that Dortmund drive a hard bargain.
