Liverpool boss Rodgers opens new Fulham talks for Dempsey

Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers is determined to land Fulham attacker Clint Dempsey.
The USA international is seen at Liverpool as an alternative to new Tottenham signing Gylfi Sigurdsson.
Rodgers has made a second enquiry about 29-year-old attacking midfielder Dempsey who has just a year to run on his Fulham contract, says the Mirror.
Fulham are understood to be asking for £10million for American international Dempsey, who scored 23 goals last season, with Liverpool set to kick off the bidding at £6m.
