: 5 Players They'd Sign If Fans Ran the Team

Liverpool have been linked with myriad players already this summer, some of which supposed targets have divided opinion with the fanbase.
There are some players however which would be a massive hit with the vast majority of supporters, ones who—like Robbie Fowler when he rejoined the club under Rafa Benitez—fans would choose to sign if they ran the transfer signings side of the club themselves.
Given certain peoples' opinions of some players available—or otherwise—this summer, others might be profoundly glad that the decision rests solely with those inside the club.
Then again, a look at much of Liverpool's transfer business over the past 24 months hardly inspires overwhelming confidence either.
That said, here are the top five players that a majority of Liverpool fans would sign if they could.
